Ego and Its Undoing

The rise and fall of what never was 

This presentation offers an explanation of who we are for all eternity, how ego crept into our minds and seemingly distorted our true identity, and what can be done to be free of ego and restored to a true experience.

It looks at mind in three states:

Mind before ego - enlightened

Mind with ego - unenlightened

Mind freed from ego - re-enlightened

Each slide consists of a black background with circular images portraying formless mind in various aspects. Mind, which is ever formless, is represented as an oval-shaped object. In India, the lingam, a sacred elliptical image, symbolizes the formless. The whitish (soft peach) oval represents God, pure Truth, the One Eternal Reality, pure Mind, Spirit, Divine Light. Other ovals and circles of varying colors, represent creation, man and the universe as pure ideas in the Mind of God. Red and red-tainted ovals and circles represent the illusory fabrications of the ego thought system… god, world and man as miscreated through identification with ego. The black field represents the total absence of Light, in effect nothing, the void, emptiness.
